The ‘Unexamined Lives’ local history project, funded by the Heritage Lottery, will be celebrating an amazing three years of community engagement with an exhibition at the Award Winning Erewash Museum. <\/strong> <\/p>\n

As part of the closing event three local actors will perform short monologues written by local writer Chrissie Hall, exploring the life and times of three women, all of whom lived in ‘Number 17’ an Edwardian villa in Borrowash through three different periods of the 20th Century. All three characters featured briefly in the 2015 play ‘Number 17 100 years history of a Borrowash house’. Using a blend of researched facts and imagined events ‘Mrs. Mary Emma Owen’ will tell of her life during the 1st World War, ‘Mrs. Sarah Anne Webster’ will tell of her life during the 2nd World War and an actor playing the writer, who also lived in Number 17 will tell her story of the ‘swingin’ 60’s.’<\/p>\n
