Escape to Denman – it’s the perfect place for an indulgent Summer Writing Retreat. Make 2017 the year you dig out that unfinished writing project languishing in a drawer, or come and begin something completely new. Join inspirational classroom sessions with tips, ideas and constructive feedback then work in ‘one to one’ sessions with W.I. member Chrissie, whose TV scripts, stage plays, short stories and articles have been broadcast and published nationally and internationally.<\/p>\n
Retreat to this beautiful Georgian House and write, perhaps in your comfortable ensuite study\/bedroom or find a tranquil spot by the lake, or the summerhouse in the 17 acres of beautiful grounds. We’ll be working on memoirs, life stories, short stories, sketches, plays, articles or novels. No experience of writing is required, men and women, beginners or those who are already writing are equally welcome.<\/p>\n
Price includes comfortable spacious single ensuite rooms (some double\/twin rooms available) akk with tea\/coffee making facilities, and full board, with varied menus of delicious meals including cooked breakfasts, morning coffee, lunch, tea and cake in the afternoon and a three course evening dinner with tea\/coffee. <\/p>\n
