Thanks Denman for hosting this Retreat and what a perfect place for it. We had a great time, with comfortable accommodation, superb food and a talented group of creative writers who enjoyed writing, editing, sharing and commenting on memoirs, short stories, novels and poetry projects. Denman will be hosting a Summer Writing Retreat in 2016 and a Winter Writing Retreat in 2017 so if ‘life gets in the way’ of your writing over the coming months you can escape to Denman for another totally self indulgent week of creative writing.

Escape to Denman – it’s the perfect place for an indulgent Winter Writing Retreat. Make 2016 the year you dig out that unfinished writing project languishing in a drawer, or come and begin something completely new. Join tutor led inspirational classroom sessions, discuss your writing, receive constructive feedback, and work in ‘one to one’ sessions with W.I. member Chrissie, whose TV scripts, short stories and articles have been published in UK and abroad. Retreat to write in the elegant drawing-room, the bar, your own comfortable en-suite bedroom, or the hall with its cosy log fire. We’ll be working on memoirs, life stories, short stories, sketches, plays, articles or novels, no experience of writing is required and beginners are welcome.
