Thank you to all the ladies and the gentleman students who worked so hard on this intensive two night residential course and began writing their life stories. What a wealth of different experiences we were privileged to have in the room. We heard and wrote about our amazingly diverse lives. Working and/or growing up in South Africa, Russia, Bangkok and Georgia. About families now, as well as fascinating family history stories, our life experiences as children and as adults. We enjoyed sharing wonderful collections of family photographs, ephemera and memorabilia which we used as springboards to inspire our stories – so much to write about – keep writing!
Writing your life story or memoir with a specialist life story writer facilitator and a supportive group of like-minded people is a wonderfully reflective and enjoyable occupation.
